Swimming Pools Bella Italia EFA Village Olympic Pool

The swimming pool complex in Bella Italia EFA Village in Lignano Sabbiadoro stands out thanks to its happy combination of nature and technology: pine forests, water, light, colours and sounds, and even the most advanced human ingenuity that worked out how to heat the water and the air nicer to breath.

The pool complex is composed of two swimming pools, the biggest being 50 x 25 m, (from 2 to 2.5 m deep) and the second 25 x 12.5 m (from 1.3 to 1.4 m deep). Stands that have 400 seats are found near the bigger pool.
The pools are indoors and heated and are equipped with separate lighting and an amplification system to broadcast announcements and music.

A large room of around 1,000 square metres has been built on the upper floor, above the area with the changing rooms, showers and toilets. It has a 5.1 Dolby surround sound system and a projection system with a large screen. The room is for music and cultural events, meetings and conferences, art exhibitions and cinema. Thanks to the internal and external fibre optic connections (that reach almost all the other buildings in the village, including the Sports Hall), it is possible to carry out audio and video conferencing with all the premises that are equipped for data transfer and have a telephone.
