Lignano Salsa Festival 2017

In Lignano Sabbiadoro will take place the first edition of Lignano Salsa Festival 2017.

Lignano Salsa Festival is open to the public: experts, enthusiasts, families and friends who want to spend one or more days between workshops, concerts, shows, entertainment and music!

The festival, in partnership with the Municipality of Lignano Sabbiadoro, has an interesting program: more than 60 professionals coming from all over the world will offer over 60 workshop hours to the participants.

Pre event program 

Monday 22nd May - h. 20:00 welcome cocktail with Latin music and DJ set in Terrazza a Mare. From there you can enjoy a beautiful 360° view.

Tuesday 23rd May - workshops h. 10:00-12:00 and 15:00-17:00 by Beach Bar Sabbiadoro. It follows a Latin night with dj set, entertainment, cocktails and buffet till 1 am. 

Wednesday 24th May boat excursion to Venice with the festival DJs and entertainers. Guided tour to the city.
Taking part to the visit is optional and the visit will last the whole day. For who is not interested in the visit, in Lignano the entertainment group will be available for lessons and dances. Moreover it is possible to go shopping using the special discount given to the participants of the festival, valid in the shops showing the LSF symbol outside. At h. 21.00 dinner (optional) in Terrazza a Mare with dj set. 

Event program

From Thursday 25th to Sunday 28th May - Music, dance lessons, concerts and shows of international artists.

Thursday 25th May - From h. 10:30 boat excursion from Lignano Sabbiadoro to Terrazza a Mare: one hour and a half of music and DJ entertainment. At h. 12:00 parade of the participants to Lignano Sabbiadoro city centre and arrival in Piazza Fontana accompanied by music and entertainment. At h. 13:30, in Terrazza a Mare great opening of the first edition of Lignano Salsa Festival. Introduction of the artists and staff and inauguration cocktail with local authorities.

In the afternoon the Festival moves to Lignano Pineta from h.16:00 to 01:00 in the night in Piazza Marcello D'Olivo will take place free mini workshops by international artists, entertainment, shows and live concert with the Cubanamà. Later in the disco with Latin after party till 04:00 am.

Friday 26th May - Free entry to Piazza Marcello D'Olivo in Lignano Pineta. Entry to Kursaal and Pala Pineta for the participants who bought the LSF pack. From 10:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 18:00 workshops with international artists.
From 19:30 to 21:30 in the Beach Village entertainment and shows. From 21:30 to 23:15 free live concert with the famous orchestra Mercadonegro. From 23:15 to 00:30 dance on the beach with dj Flecha, Tronky and more. Follows a disco night with Latin after party till 04:00/05:00 am. 

Saturday 27th May - From 10:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 18:00 workshops with professional international artists in Piazza Marcello D'Olivo. From 19:30 opening of Arena Alpe Adria with LSF store, bar, entertainment, music and DJ set. At 21:30 musical show with international artists performing in a unique show with the live music of Mercadonegro. After the show DJ set, entertainment and dances till 00:30. Follows a disco night with Latin after party till 04:00/05:00 am. 

Sunday 28th May - From 10:00 to 15:00 workshops with professional international artists in Piazza Marcello D'Olivo and Kursaal. From 16:00 to 01:30 Pool Party by Beach Bar Sabbiadoro. Two heated up pools with hydromassage, barbecue, shows, entertainment and dances.
